CARD INSTRUCTIONS

For this project I will use this cupcake image from the Party Palooza Stamp Set, this macaron from the Sweet Stuff Stamp Set, the Mini Essential Die set as well as the Starry Rainbow Die. I stamped the images with Violet all-purpose craft ink, called Mardi Gras. I have used this color because I wanted to achieve a brighter look. Colorful outlines always help in that.

For the coloring I am using water based Pastel Tombow Brush Markers on Bristol smooth cardstock, but feel free to try it with any type of markers you have with the right cardstock. For the coloring and the full process be sure to check out the video here.

Once the coloring was done, I added highlights with white pencil and white pigment pen, then I run the images through my mini die-cutting machine with their coordinating dies. I have created two mini card fronts with the largest die from the Mini Essentials Dies from light pink and blue cardstock. I have also created rainbow with the Starry Rainbow Die and Heffy Doodle cardstock.

Next, I stamped the happy birthday sentiment from the Party Palooza Stamp Set  to my card fronts with watermark ink, then I heat embossed it with white fine embossing powder. When it was done, I made a quick ink blending on the mini card fronts. I have used the Be Mine and It’s a Boy inkpad colors from the Spring Fling Mini set by Catherine Pooler. Next, I splattered on it with white, pink and blue watercolors and let them air dry.

In the end I just adhered everything together with different types of adhesives and put it to a 3 and ¾ by 5 and 7/8 card base which I folded in half. In the end I created one more die-cut with the Starry Rainbow Die, this time from white cardstock and used the small stars to embellish my card. Thank you so much for joining me, see you next time, have an amazing day, Mona.

BOOKMARK INSTRUCTIONS

I created see-through bookmarks many times, so I am reusing older step by step photos here, but they are useful and will help you a lot to create this look.

1. Create 3 die-cuts with the stitched scalloped rectangle frames dies

2. Cut off the center piece of the scalloped die-cut on the short sides.

3. Now you have two similar parts of each of them.

4. Adhere them together.

5. The frame is done, create the shaker part like usually, or as I am showing it in my older bookmark video. Then embellish it with your colored images and sentiments.

For my bookmark I have used bubbles of joy stamp set  and the scripty bubble sentiments stamp set. For the coloring I have used Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers in the following shades: CT1, MG1, GT1, BT3, HB1, PP1, PP3, MB1, MB2, MB3, MB4, BG2, GB1, Blender. (Shhh. for the bubble coloring I will have a video tutorial soon on the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel with another project.)

In the end I added cute pastel floral eyelet from the rainbow eyelet set with my Crop A Dile tool and the bookmark was ready.

That's all folks for today, I really love this set, and I hope you get inspired by this cute bookmark. Thank you so much for stopping by, have an amazing day! Mona

CARD INSTRUCTIONS

I started the cardmaking with die-cutting. I created heart shape die cuts in pastel colors with the smaller heart shape die from the All My Love set as well as light brown hearts with the larger one.

I have also created one more die-cut with the smaller heart die as a template for speeding up the stamping and heat embossing process. Then I stamped on the heart die-cuts with watermark ink and heat embossed with fine white embossing powder.

Next, I created shadows on the hearts with Distress Oxide Inks. I picked a slightly darker color then the current die-cut color. Check this process in the video here. When it was done, I have created the highlights too with white pencil and pen.

After this I adhered the heart die-cuts together and created the card base with the Peekaboo Windows and the Scallop Frames Slimline dies. These two dies work perfectly together. I have created a soft teal die-cut with the largest die from the Peekaboo Windows set. I made a quick ink blending on it through the Lattice Stencil with Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide ink. After the ink blending, I splattered on it with clear water.

In the end I embellished the card with White Hearts Clay Confetti. It’s just a nice addition to the cards. And the slimline card was ready. Thank you so much for stopping by, see you next time. Hugs, Mona.

CARD INSTRUCTIONS

I started the cardmaking with stamping the images with alcohol marker friendly black inkpad. When it was done, I made a quick heat set for my images and I continued the coloring process.

For the coloring I have used the following colors from Spectrum Noir Illustrators:

Monkeys: EB7, EB4, EB1, TN2, TN1, FS7, FS6.

Cheeks: FS8, FS6.

Envelopes, chocolate box, ears: PP5, PP4, PP3, PP1, FS8, FS6, Blender.

If you are interested to watch the coloring please click here to watch the video in HD.

When the coloring was done, I continued with fussy cutting and die-cutting all the colored images. I have also created one soft pink and one gold glittery die-cut with the beautiful Heart Vines cover plate.

Before I have adhered the die-cuts and the images to their right place, I heat embossed the Love sentiment from the Valentine Hearts Stamp Set. Once to a pink cardstock and once to a gold glitter cardstock, which I run through my die-cut machine with its coordinating dies. Then I adhered all the parts together with liquid adhesive and 3D foam squares.

In the end I embellished my card with glittery heart die-cuts from the Heart Vines stamp set, and for the other one I adhered Sparkling Clear Sequins Mix as well as soft pink rhinestones from the newly released Sweetheart rhinestones.

These monkeys and envelopes are so adorable, they just make me smile, and the cover plate is currently one of my favorites! Thank you so much for stopping by, see you next time. Hugs, Mona.

CARD INSPIRATION

I started the cardmaking with stamping. I created the background with the beautiful Love script sentiment from the Valentine Hearts Stamp Set. I just stamped it multiple times. Next, I stamped the heart images from the Valentine Hearts stamp set with brown and dark pink alcohol marker friendly inkpads to create a fun look on the card.

Love this beautiful stamp set, so versatile and not only for Valentine's Day.

I continued with the coloring. After a quick heat set I colored them with Spectrum Noir Illustrator Markers, where I have used the following colors: FS1, AP2, AP3, AP4, CR7, CR9, CR11, DR7, MG2, MG3, MG4, BP6, BG3, BG1, Blender. When it was done, I run them through my die-cut machine with the Valentine Hearts Coordinating Dies.

Next, I created the background with this beautiful Love script stamp from the Valentine Hearts Stamp Set. I just stamped it with dark red inkpad to a rich pink cardstock. I splattered on it with white, red and gold watercolors to break the background.

When it was done, I put my card together with 3d FoamSquares to add a little dimension to my card. In the end I embellished the card with Gold Sequins, and it was ready. Thank you so much for stopping by, see you next time. Hugs, Mona.
