Video: Copic coloring techniques with Heffy Doodle

Hi lovelies, today I have a video tutorial for you, where I am going to show you how I colored these cute hedgehogs from the Quill You Be Mine Stamp Set by Heffy Doodle in real time with Copic Markers. As always you can find the used supplies below the post.

I started the cardmaking process with the card base. I decided to use this piece from the Fancy Nancy Frames Dies. Run it three times through my Die-cut machine with a 5.5" by 4.25" Neenah Solar white cardstock. When it was done, I picked the Steady Heart stencil, placed it on my die-cutting plate, put on it the prepared card front, put on it the rubber embossing mat and plate and run it through the die-cut machine. Once It was done, I got a beautiful heart patterned dry embossed card front.

Next I am going to use the Quill You Be Mine? Stamp set. These Hedgies are fabulous and I am going to show you, how I will color them. For the stamping I have used Jet Black by Lawn Fawn. Before the coloring, I gave a quick heat set to my images. This will prevent the ink smearing. When it was done, I started the coloring process, be sure to check the video tutorial

When the coloring was done, I added white highlights with Signo Uniball White Pen and let the images dry. For the background I have used the Cloudy Skies Stencil and I made a quick ink blending through it. I have used the Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean to create nice and fluffy skies.

Next, I run a green cardstock through the Die-cut machine with the Grassy Lass Border Dies, and made an ink blending on it too. This time I have used the Lucky Clover and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide Inks. After this, I stamped the sentiments with watermark ink to the colored cardstock, then I heat embossed with white embossing powder. In the end I put my card together.

I hope you have enjoyed my project for today, be sure to check the video for the full tutorial with the extra tips and tricks. As always, you can find the used supplies below and if you have any questions feel free to ask in a comment. See you next time, have an amazing day, Mona

Heffy Friends Blog Hop

Hello lovelies and welcome to the Heffy Doodle Friends Blog Hop. Today I am showing you two card inspirations with the newest release, I hope you will enjoy that.

As always, you can find the supply list below the post. Now let see the cards which I created and also don't forget to comment on my blog, because there is a giveaway too! Yaaay!

For my first inspiration I have mixed some new and oldie but goodie products too. I have created a super thin window shaker card with the Skinny Imperial Rectangle Frames Dies from 3D foam adhesive and from Simply Teal-icious cardstock. When it was done, I added to the shaker window teeny-weeny embellishments and put the “I Love You” sentiment what I have made with the I Love You Shadow Heffy Cut Dies. In the end I stamped the images with Treat Yo'Self Clear Stamps and Sweet Stuff Stamp set. When it was done, I colored them with my Copics and the shaker card was done.

For my second card I thought that I am going to play with my beloved Pasta La vista Stamp set. I have created the pasta background with stamping and made realistic pasta coloring on them. If you want to see the pasta coloring tutorial, check out my video here. When the coloring was done, I adhered the card front to the red background diecut and continued with the sentiment. I wanted to make something funny, so I made my own sentiment with 3D adhesive and Stitched Alphabetters Dies from the beautiful Cherry on top Cardstock. Once the alpha diecuts were done I styled and put my card together.

Few more inspirations what I have created with my favorite Pasta La Vista Stamp set:

Hope you have enjoyed my inspirations for today, see you next time and good luck in the giveaway! Mona
