Pretty Pink Posh September release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to day 1 of the Pretty Pink Posh September Release Blog Hop! We are celebrating this magical fall release, okay, I am obsessed because I am a fall girl and this is my favorite season of the year!

THIS PROJECT FEATURES

Do you enjoy this inspiration? I really appreciate if you pin this photo to your Pinterest.

CARD INSTRUCTIONS

For this card I was inspired by one of my fall portrait photos what I shot last year and I wanted to create a cozy warm and cute scene with full of fall, so I reached for warm yellows, muted oranges as well as slightly muted pinks, which works perfectly together with the warm brown shades.

I stamped the images from the above mentioned stamps: Cozy Fall Critters Stamp SetFalling Leaves Stamp Set as well as Woodland Thanks Stamp Set and colored them with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers with the following colors: CT1, CT3, CT4, GY3, TN1, TN3, TN4, TN5, TN7, GB6, GB4, GB2, MB1, FS9, FS3, PP1, PP2, PP3, PP5, MG1, MG2, EB7, EB4, EB1, BO1, Blender. Classiques: GB05, BO05.

As you can see these stamps perfectly work together, my personal favorite is that super adorable pinecone stamp, which is a nice addition to your fall and winter cards as well! Take a closer look of this set hereNext, I stamped the Thankful autumn greeting sentiments from the Woodland Thanks Stamp Set with watermark ink, and heat embossed with gold and white embossing powders. The thankful sentiment has its coordinating die, which is really cool. I love when the scripty sentiments have their coordinating dies.

In the end I created the ink blended background with Distress Oxide inks (see the used colors below the post), then I splattered on it with clear water to make a really quick bokeh effect. Finally I made frame, trees and grass from a cream cardstock with the Nature Essentials Dies and put my card together. Thank you so much for stopping by, take a look at this beautiful release. I wish you happy hopping! Hugs, Mona.

Fun techniques with stencils | Waffle Flower Crafts Hop

Hi crafty friend! Welcome to Waffle Flower’s November 2020 Release day! Today Waffle Flower is rolling out their new release that includes 3 stamp sets, 1 stamp-n-stencil combo, and 14 stencils! All of the products from this month’s release are already waiting for you on the website here

This month’s Waffle Flower release is all about creativity boosters! For many of us, time in the craftroom is all about clearing the mind and recharging! With that goal in mind, Waffle Flower packed this release full of stencils and silhouettes designed to feed your imagination! So, take a mini-break from your holiday crafting and take a look at these new goodies!

As you know I am a rainbow color lover, and when I saw the new amazing stencils, I knew that I will create something colorful with them. I have used the Paint Strokes Stencil, the Stripes Builder Stencil and the Infinite Petals Stencils in creating these rainbow cards.

For the first one I just picked Distress Oxide inkpads in random rainbow colors and made a quick ink blending through the Paint Strokes Stencil and it turned out magically! I really LOVE the result. Because the background is very colorful, I just added a gold heat embossed Peony Bouquet Vellum Die-cut and a gold heat embossed sentiment which I have created with the Spotlight Holiday Elements stamp set.

For my second rainbow card I did the same like the previous one, but this time with the Stripes Builder Stencil. I put the stencil to the top of my card diagonally and I wanted to make it a bit imperfect, so I overlayed sometimes the colors.

When the colorful background was done, I heat embossed on it the image with sentiment from the Spotlight Holiday Elements stamp set and finally I added a little bling with the Gold Glitz Glitter Gel through Keeway's Sky Scene Stencil

For my last rainbow card, I made the same thing with the Infinite Petals Stencils. I just turned it 4 times to get this amazing and colorful look.

I added a little bling too with the Gold Glitz Glitter Gel trough Keeway's Sky Scene Stencil. In the end I just added an airy shaded Peace sentiment because I like the rainbow focus.

One of my favorites from this release is this new and super cute Fall for You stencil-n-stamp. Stencils are used to create larger elements and the coordinating stamps add focal points and fine details. Waffle Flower’s first stencil-n-stamp is the adorable Fall for You by artist Cassie Loizeaux (stencil-n-stamp).

I have created these cards with ink blending through the stencils with different Distress Oxide Colors, then stamped with watermark ink with the coordinated stamp set and heat embossed it with white and gold embossing powders.

As a last step for the background I added Teal and Gold Glitz Glitter Gel through the 3rd stencil and let it dry. In the end I just put a big Peace word die-cut and heat embossed sentiment and put my card together. I love how these cards turned out.

Thank you so much for stopping by, as always, you can find the used supplies below the post. And now giveaway time! YAAAY!

Fall Sunset Watercoloring with Viviva Colorsheets and Lawn Fawn

Hi crafty friends, today I am back with a cute watercolor project what I created with the most portable watercolor sheets ever! Rohitha, from the Viviva Team, was super kind and sent me their handmade Single Set Watercolorsheets to try out!

I was super excited when I received it! I love its design and look, even the envelope was amazing and handcrafted!

As you can see on the photos, this watercolor set is super thin and portable. My type Includes 16 ultra-vibrant colors. This watercolor palette is the perfect choice to bring with you to the crop events, or when you are on trip, and you want to take with you some coloring! Trust me it’s ultra super thin! 😊

Between the shades you can find special water resistant sheets, so your colors will be divided even when they are wet! Under the watercolor paint, you can find a frame which is color coded. If you want you can make your swatch in that frame and you are ready to go! You can use them everywhere you like! 😊

I decided to show you how vibrant it is, so I pulled my watercolor sketchbook and I painted a little fall with Lawn Fawn stamps. But before I started to color I swatched all the colors. Girl!!! You need only a bit of that paint, it’s oh so pigmented!

For the stamping I have used the Jump for Joy and the A bug Deal stamp sets by Lawn Fawn. For the stamping I have used the Crunchy Leaf inkpad. After a quick heat set, I wet the watercolor paper and started to build up the scene.

I wanted to create a nice fall sunset, and with these colors it was really easy. When the background was done, I stamped the leaves from the Jump for Joy stamp set to another watercolor paper and colored the leaves with the randomly picked colors.

My top favorite colors are the “Viridian”, the “Magenta”, the “Light Green” and the “Chrome Yellow”. All the shades are fantastic, but these are the holy grail for me! 😊

I am absolutely in love with this palette and this extra thin friend is going to my small travel bag! The Viviva colorseets has amazing and rich shades and it fits to your penholder as well. If you have never tried it consider to get one for yourself and it’s a perfect Christmas present for a crafty friend as well. 😊

Thank you so much for reading my post, I hope you have enjoyed it, if you have any questions feel free to ask in a comment or check the Handmade Viviva Colorsheets site!
