Help to Australia with a Cut-file

Hi friends, today I am showing a card for a cause. I made it with the Digital Cut File For Australia – SVG bundle what was created by Scrapbook.com to benefit Australian Red Cross Society. I know that our crafty community is full of amazing and kind spirits, if you can, please help with buying this cut-file for yourself or for a friend.

100% of the proceeds from this Digital Cut File bundle will be given directly to the Australian Red Cross Society so that they may aid the people, wildlife, plant life, and structures affected by devastating wildfires across Australia.

I started the cardmaking with electronic die-cutting. With the mentinoned Cutfile I made a koala die-cut, eucalyptus twice and the Hope sentiment four time with my Cameo 3 Electronic Die-cut Machine.

When it was done, I marked the Koala shape on my watercolor paper with pencil and I have used masking fluid on it. After the masking fluid is dried, I made a rainbow watercolor wash on it and let it air dry.

While it was drying, I created the sentiment. I adhered all the four pieces of “Hope” word die-cuts together to add more dimension to the sentiment and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

In the end I made rainbow gradient splatters with watercolor on the card base. When it was dry, I rubbed off the masking fluid from the base, and put my card together.

I hope you have enjoyed my post for today. Don’t forget, every little bit helps you can find the AustraliaCutfile here. If you can’t buy this cut-file, you can help with sharing  and pining this post too. Thank you so much for reading through this post, and I really appreciate your help.

Hugs, Mona

Dry embossed background with digital cut file | Scrapbook.com

Hello lovelies and welcome back on my blog. Today I have a step by step photo tutorial for you with the new exclusive clear photo-polymer stamp release from Scrapbook.com.

CARD TUTORIAL

Check out my step by step instructions with photos. As always you can find the used supplies below the post. I created two simply but festive cards with the Make it Jolly sentiment stamp , follow the step by step instructions here:

I have used the Tis the Season - Bundle Cut files with my Silhouette Cameo.

When it was done, I decided to dry emboss with it an another cardstock with my Die-cut machine and dry embossing mat.

It looks fabulous right? I thought I am going to use both of these backgrounds, and just put on it a heat embossed stamping and sentiments.

I stamped and heat embossed the Great Joy stamp sets by Pinkfresh Studio.

Next I die-cut the stamped images and started to put together the card. I knew that I need something sparkle to the background, so I picked the Gold Sparkle cardstock by Lawn Fawn.

Next I put 3D adhesives to the die-cuts to add my card more dimension.

Finally I put my card together. I have added the heat embossed sentiments to their place.

In the end I embellished the critters and the heat embossed die-cut with Nuvo Jewel and Crystal Drops. In the end I have added a few sequins and my cards were ready.

Thank you very much for reading through my post, I hope that you have enjoyed it and I have inspired you! If you like my creations let's be friends on Instagram. :)
