MFT | Rainbows & Unicorns

Hi everyone! I am so happy to be a guest again on the My Favorite Things blog! Today I will feature the amazing Rainbows & Unicorns stamp set with their coordinating dies and I also used Once upon a Rainbow Die-namics. If you missed my previous post you can check it here. The used supplies you can find bellow.

I started the cardmaking with stamping, so I stamped unicorns with Rainbows & Unicorns stamp set. I colored them with my Copic Markers. The next step was the die-cutting! First I die-cut the colored unicorns, then the rainbows and the fluffy clouds. As you can see I made the same die-cuts from glitter paper too.

I added more dimension to the rainbows and clouds with paper layering so now it's more interesting. The unicorns are backed with glitter paper too. When it was done I put together my background. I splattered on the soft pink cardstock with white and violet watercolor.

In the end I heat embossed the sentiment to the soft teal cardstock with white embossing powder. As final touches I run the little star dies from the Rainbows & Unicorns set through my Die-cut machine with gold glitter and teal cardstock and my card was ready.

Thank you very much for reading through my post, I hope that you have enjoyed it and I have inspired you! If you like my creations let's be friends on Instagram. :)

Big hugs, Mona

Spellbinders | Glimmer hot foiling techniques

Hi there, today I am going to show you a step by step photo tutorial. In this post I am featuring The Glimmer Hot Foil Machine on Spellbinders blog. I made these quick and easy cards using patterned papers. Let's see my creations.

Check out the step by step instructions below for this project:

● Turn on your Glimmer Hot Foil Machine
● Pick a Hot Foil color

● Cut the foil to the Hot Plate's size

● Put the Hot Plate on your Glimmer Hot Foil and position it

● Turn on the "timer" on your machine
● Add the Hot foil with the colored side facing downwards

● Chose a patterned paper from your stash and put it on the Hot foil

● Place your shim (plus an extra shim - cardstock) and the Spacer Pad on the top.

● Gently put all of them to your Die-cut machine and slowly run them back and forth.

● Remove your foil

● If you want you can repeat the process with more patterned papers (here I made cactuses and another sentiment),don't forget to cut your foiled papers to the right size

● Embellish your card

● And the project is done

Sunny Studio | Love Monkey

Hi crafty friends! Happy to see you there! Today I am going to show you an interactive card with the gorgeous Love Monkey Stamp Set from Sunny Studio Stamps! As always, the used supplies you can find bellow.

I started the card making with Die-cutting. I picked a beautiful pink patterned paper from the Flirty Flowers 6x6 Cardstock and run it through my Die-Cut machine with the Sliding Window Dies.

You can find a video tutorial at Sunny Studio Stamps Youtube Channel on how to use this amazing die. When it was done I built up the scene. I made tree Die-cuts with the Rustic Winter Dies and fresh grass with Comic Strip Everyday Dies.

After this I made the backgrounds of my scene with ink blending. For outside I cut a 3x4" size cardstock and blended with Blueprint Sketch, Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide Inks. I also blended the Die-cut grasses with Twisted Citron and Lucky Clover Distress Oxides. I blended the inside "secret" background with Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide Inks.

After Heat embossing the sentiments I started the stamping and coloring. I stamped the images from the Love Monkey Stamp Set and cute tulips from Spring Greetings stamp set. These monkeys are absolutely super cute! I stamped monkeys and lots of bananas to my hidden panel. I colored them with Copic Markers. After the coloring I used the coordinating dies to cut the images and added highlights with Signo Uniball white pen.

Used Copic Markers: Y11, Y15, Y19, E0000, E000, E30, E33, E35, E42, E47, YG01, YG03, YG17, YG67, B000, B05, B18, R20, R32

In the end I styled my card and adhered everything together. Thank you very much for reading through my post, I hope that you have enjoyed it and I have inspired you! If you like my creations let's be friends on Instagram. :)
