MFT | Rainbows & Unicorns

Hi everyone! I am so happy to be a guest again on the My Favorite Things blog! Today I will feature the amazing Rainbows & Unicorns stamp set with their coordinating dies and I also used Once upon a Rainbow Die-namics. If you missed my previous post you can check it here. The used supplies you can find bellow.

I started the cardmaking with stamping, so I stamped unicorns with Rainbows & Unicorns stamp set. I colored them with my Copic Markers. The next step was the die-cutting! First I die-cut the colored unicorns, then the rainbows and the fluffy clouds. As you can see I made the same die-cuts from glitter paper too.

I added more dimension to the rainbows and clouds with paper layering so now it's more interesting. The unicorns are backed with glitter paper too. When it was done I put together my background. I splattered on the soft pink cardstock with white and violet watercolor.

In the end I heat embossed the sentiment to the soft teal cardstock with white embossing powder. As final touches I run the little star dies from the Rainbows & Unicorns set through my Die-cut machine with gold glitter and teal cardstock and my card was ready.

Thank you very much for reading through my post, I hope that you have enjoyed it and I have inspired you! If you like my creations let's be friends on Instagram. :)

Big hugs, Mona

MFT | Tweethearts

Hi everyone! I am thrilled to be a guest designer on the My Favorite Things blog! Today I will feature the super sweet Tweethearts Stamp and Die combo with Sassy Pants Love Stamp Set. In my project I was inspired by the sweet and cute canary birds. They are cutest yellow little singers.

I started the cardmaking with Stamping and Die-cutting. I made lots of little notes and a few yellow birdies with the Tweethearts Stamp Set. I colored them with my Copic Markers.

The next step was the background and ink blending. I love to use complementary colors so to yellow birdies I picked the Shaded Lilac, Wilted Violet, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks and blended the card base. After the blending I splattered on the card with the same colors.

When it was done I heat embossed the cadge and the funny sentiment from the Sassy Pants Stamp Set to the background with white embossing powder. Just look at this sentiment, it makes me smile! :) (Don't worry, I have only one addiction and that's the cardoholism :D )

In the end I styled my card, adhered everything to the right place and my card was ready! Thank you very much for reading through my post, I hope that I have inspired you! If you like my creations check my blog and let's be friends on Instagram. See you next time! :)

Big hugs, Mona

MFT | Have a Sweet Birthday

Hi lovelies! Today I have a really special post because I joined My Favorite Things Team as a Guest Designer for the MFT & Friends Feature, to celebrate the 2019 January release! YAY! :) I am really honored and thankful for this opportunity!

Today I will show you a cute card and few yummies using their newest products. I started the cardmaking with Die-cutting. First I made cute foxes with the Friendly Fox Die from white and beige cardstock then I blended them with Hybrid Inks. When it was done I adhered the foxes together. I wanted to create a sweet card so added this amazing soft pink heart patterned cardstock to the background from the Sweet Stack 6x6 Paper Pad.

Next I searched in my stash for a pink cardstock in similar pink color then I run it through my Die-cut Machine with Lots of Hearts and Straight from the Heart Die. By the way, you can grab this Heart Die for free if your order is above 60 dollars! Check it out now! :)

In the end I made the sentiment with the Sweet Celebrations Stamp Set and I put together my card. Because I can't get enough from this amazing patterned paper I made two more cute things from Sweet Stack 6x6 Paper Pad.

So my second project with the mentioned stuff is a cute shaker tag with the Oh So Versatile and brand new Treat Tag Die and Nugget Label. I added a Chocolate paper inside and heat embossed on the front of shaker tag the "Love You More than Chocolate" sentiment. Ohh I love this stamp set so much! :)

For my last project I created a lovely Chocolate tag with the same stamps and dies and other products! I just added a one perfect element, the Nugget Trio Shaker Pouches with yummy Nuggets!
