Hello crafty friend, welcome in my creative world! I just wanted to say hi to you! You need to know that I am so so happy that you are here, and any time I got a like or comment from you, my heart is warm! Thank you for your support! You really rock!

Let me introduce myself, just a bit. I'm Mona (30) from Slovakia, Europe (not Slovenia).  I'm photographer, cat lover and addicted to cardmaking. Many of you know that I am Mona Toth /monɒ toʊt/, but only few of you know that it’s just a nickname. Officially, I am Monika /ˈmɒ.nɪ.kə/. We live with my hubby in a small town, Komarno, Slovakia (originally I am from Šahy southern Slovakia).

My native language is Hungarian, but I speak Slovak and English language as well. I studied and got diploma from Economics at the UJS University at Komarno, but long before that I started to take photographs and I became a wedding and portrait photographer at PROfoto (which is our small business with my hubby).

My first wedding photography was in 2006. I met my sweet hubby Attila in 2009 and since that time we are shooting together. During the years we shot hundreds of weddings, portraits and tons of other things. Due to this we had the opportunity to travel to many countries and cites. We really love our job, we really missed our work (and livelihood) during the pandemic. 

Beside photography I am a cat lover (a real crazy cat lady). Our furry balls are called Candy and Hetty, and they are putting every single day a big smile on our faces (okay, sometimes angry faces, especially when they eat our indoor plants). Anyway, we love these cute purry-furry balls.

As a child I adored coloring and other creative things. I always liked painting and cutting papers and after a few years 😊 in 2017 I started scrapbooking. Yaaaay! This opened a new crafty world to me. So many amazing things for adults and I thought, this is for me oh yeah! After that I noticed that there are lots of amazing stamps and dies and my scrapbooking passion slowly turned to cardmaking. I love cardmaking oh so much! It’s a colorful happiness which is really relaxing for me. 

If I need to describe my style, it should be colorful. It should contains turquoise color, if it’s possible, because this is my favorite one. I love bright rainbow colors, And I love to try new techniques and specially to stamp and color cute critters with alcohol markers. This is what I love the most! 2020 is/was different than the other years, but I try to remain positive.
