CARD INSTRUCTIONS

First, I stamped these cute girls from the Darling Hugs and Darling Celebration  stamps with crunchy leaf inkpad, and after a quick heat set I colored them with Spectrum Noir Illustrator markers. MG2, MG1, PP2, PP1, FS3, FS1, PV1, HB1, HB2, BT1, BT2, BT3, TB2, TB4, CT1, CT3, CT4, GY3, MB4, MB3, MB2, MB1, FS9, FS7, FS6. For the color comparison charts for brands of Markers visit Kit and Clowder.

Next, I have created my own pastel rainbow patterned cardstock with paper piecing. To achieve this beautiful pastel rainbow look I have trimmed 0.25” x 8.5” sized strips from ColorEssentials Cardstocks in the following shades: Pink SandBeeswaxPeridotWaterfallPurple Mist. Just a little note, if you like pastel colors like me, then I suggest you to try the mentioned cardstocks, I am sure you will love them!

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment with the Sugar Coated Sentiments stamp set with watermark ink to a piece of vellum, then I heat embossed it with white embossing powder. When it was done, I created the rainbow frame by using the Sweet Treat Box Dies. What you see around the card is the negative part of the die-cut I have created and you will see that piece in my next project. I adhered the vellum to the frame, then I added clay Sweet Sprinkles inside it and adhered it to my light pink card base made from Pink Sand cardstock and my card was ready.
