Hi crafty friends! I am super excited that I am a part of the Winter Trio Blog Hop which is a collaboration with Catherine Pooler, Heffy Doodle, and WOW! We have so many inspirations for you with giveaways! Join us for the fun!
As an inspiration I have created this festive rainbow Christmas card, this is my first for this year and I can't get enough of it. It's super sparkle and colorful! This is what I love! :)
I started with stamping the colorful houses from the Alpine Village stamp set by Catherine Pooler. I love that in this set there are houses in different sizes. I stamped the images with Life of the Party mini inkpads by Catherine Pooler. I have used the Party Dress, Lime Rickey, Tutti Frutti, Aquatini, Something Borrowed, Tiara and Flirty Fuchsia colors. This was the first time that I have tried these inks, and I need to tell you! I want them all, so my Xmas whish list is done. 😍
When the stamping was done I die-cut the images with their coordinating dies, and continued the die-cutting. I have used the Stitched Slopey Joes border dies for creating the snow. I just die-cut white cardstock from Heffy Doodle, and made on it a heat embossing with Wanderlust embossing powder. I did the same, with the Merry and the Christmas Heffy Cuts an the Scalloped Slimline Dies, as well. But for those I have used the Metallic Gold Sparkle embossing powder. Look at that shine! LOVE!
When it was done I created two more die-cuts with the Stitched Slimline Trio dies, one with the Tealicious cardstock, and one smaller one for ink blending. For the background I have used the Flirty Fuchsia and Aquatini inkpads and I just love this bright night sky!
As a final touch I added small stars to the background from the Starlight Sparkles Glitter and my card was done. Thank you so much for joining me today, I wish you good luck on the giveaway!
