INSPIRATION
Now let's see what I have created with these products. You can find all the used supplies easily in the end of my post, if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me.
I started the cardmaking with ink blending and heat embossing. I stamped the Believe sentiment from the Big and Bold Christmas stamp set with clear watermark ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. I have also used Exclusive Hybrid Inks and Domed Blending Tools.
Next I made a couple of die-cuts from Neenah solar white, beige and red cardstock. For the die-cutting I have used Nested Star Wafer Thin Metal Dies from Scrapbook.com and Scalloped frame from Lawn Fawn.
When it was done I dry embossed the white card front with Little Boxes Stencil and adhered together the heat embossed cardstock with 3D adhesive.
Next I stamped a cute message from the Christmas Fun Card Sentiments stamp set to the pre scored Neenah Solar White Cardstock with Cardinal Red Hybrid inkpad.
Next I run the Nested Star die-cuts through my die-cut machine with cute face dies from the Lawn Fawn, Gingerbread Friends Die-set. These cute stars got really sweet faces. I also painted on it "icing" with Signo Uniball White Pen.
When it was done I started to put my card together with 3D mini squares, squares and mini circle adhesives to add more dimension to my card.
In the end I adhered the green tree confetti to my finished card, which I made with the Tis the Season Cut file.
I know it was a little long post, but I wanted to make a cute card for you, I hope you get inspired. Don't forget, that these used supplies are today for Sale. Big hugs, Mona

ReplyDeleteCute gingerbread cookies and lots of layers. It is the type of card I love to make.
ReplyDeleteChristmas memory: On my 7th birthday, my mum brought me the original My Little pony castle and instead of playing with that I wanted to play my cheap little puppet. After that christmas my mum worked out that things that were more interesting to me didnt work out when it came to price.
How cute are those stars as Gingerbread girls. Darling sweet card. I really have to try to make them. What great inspiration and I thank you. Favorite holiday memories are going to Midnight Mass.
ReplyDeleteHow cute are those stars!! Every year I let my 3 kids pick a new ornament for the tree. Something that they think is neat. tamaratelena@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteVery cute card. I love how you changed the stars into gingerbread cookies. Very creative!!! My favorite Christmas tradition is the family gathering for Christmas Eve.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute idea!!! Christmas for me is filled with so many memories. My favorite memory is being with my Grama and seeing what color her tree was each year … either traditional (multi color w/ silver icicles), or a Chrismon tree with white/gold ornaments (all of which were hand-made). This will be our 2nd Christmas without her. I would give anything to see her tree again (she was 102 the last time she put her tree up ... She would have been 104 on Dec. 3rd.) I miss her and all her traditions!
ReplyDeleteI never thought of using my white ink pen to add details to die cuts and stamps. Thanks for the tip!
